The two children collapsed onto the tile with a thud, and Toph whirled around instantaneously. “If it isn’t my darling daughter.” She drawled menacingly, saunteering over to the shaking pre-teens. “H-Hi Mother…” Lin responded meekly. There were only a few things in the world that could scare Lin Beifong, and her mom was one of them. Luckily, she had Tenzin with her- She reached to grab his hand, but it wasn’t there.
